Calibrate Harmonizer Microphone
You will need to do this just once to calibrate Harmonizer to work with the microphone on your iPhone.
- Open Harmonizer App.
- Touch Enter.
- Touch Shift.
- Touch Pref.
- Uncheck Metric Units.
- Touch Back.
- Change Max. Spindle Speed (rpm) to 6000 and touch Enter.
- Change Current Spindle Speed (rpm) to 1656 and touch Enter.
- Change Effective Cutting Edges to 6 and touch Enter.
- Change Chipload (in) to 0.004 and touch Enter.
- Change Tool Diameter (in) to 2.5 and touch Enter.
- Change Pick Closest Material Type to 1 and touch Enter.
- Change Recording Length (s) to 5 and touch Enter.
- Change Threshold Setting Method to 3=Background and touch Enter.
Turn up audio. Keep phone two feet from speakers
16. Start above video and touch Enter when instructed.
17. After Threshold is calculated, touch Enter. |
18. Start above video and touch Enter when instructed.
19. Should say 1656RPM CHATTERED AT 899 Hz (+/- 1 Hz) 20. If it does, press Shift and then Save Def. |
If you have issues with the audio coming from the videos, you can use the audio file below:
If it says NO CHATTER FOUND, proceed to the following:
When it detects chatter at 899 Hz (+/- 1 Hz), press Shift and then Save Def.
- Press Shift.
- Press Thresh- button to reduce factor by 10%
- Press Threshold
- Repeat Steps 15-19 from prior section.
- If says NO CHATTER FOUND again, repeat steps 1-5 above.
When it detects chatter at 899 Hz (+/- 1 Hz), press Shift and then Save Def.
